How to get to Iceland by air:
There are excellent transportation choices via Icelandair to Iceland and beyond form the US. There are daily non-stop flights to Reykjavik (Keflavik) from Baltimore/Washington, Boston, Minneapolis, New York and Orlando. Flight times are as short as 4 1/2 hours.

So, many people discover Iceland by taking advantage of "stop-over" opportunities while on their way to or from somewhere else. Then they're hooked and often plan their next vacation to be solely an Icelandic one!

Icelandair links North America with Iceland and other European destinations through five major gateway airports - New York's JFK, Baltimore-Washington's BWI, Minneapolis/St. Paul's MSP, Boston's BOS and Orlando's MCO International Airports. Passengers may connect in Reykjavik to Scandinavia, Great Britain and continental Europe.

Leifur Eiriksson Terminal at Keflavik International Airport is a joy to behold for the mega-airport weary traveler. A restaurant, a bar and shops with Scandinavian delicacies, wines and liquors, and luxury items from around the world are all close at hand in this well-designed and unusually quiet building characterized by an unrestrained emphasis on passenger comfort. Unveiled in April 1987, the Leifur Eiriksson Terminal is small by international standards but remarkable both for its ease of use and its comfort, warmth, and spaciousness. Many travelers passing through this terminal opt for a one to three day Awesome Iceland Stopover Package.

Airline fares are subject to constant change, so check with the airlines or your travel agent for the best fare when you plan a visit to Iceland. In addition to normal one-way and return fares a number of attractive excursion and family fares are available, as well as group fares for various sizes of groups. Airfares also differ between seasons. For full details of fares and services contact your local travel agent or Icelandair.
